DATCHWORTH will bid for a place in the quarter-finals of the Herts RFU Presidents' Cup next month.

The village club's first round clash with Harpenden has been postponed until the first weekend of February.

The winners of the tie will then be away to Bishop's Stortford in the last eight.

Welwyn have already bowed out of the county's top competition, losing 37-0 to league rivals Letchworth.

That victory has secured the north Herts side a trip to Old Albanians in round two.

Other ties see St Albans tackle Stevenage Town away and Hertford host Tring, who put out former cup winners Tabard 25-14, the two sides' league match doubling up as a cup tie.
