RUGBY matches fell victim to the wet weather last weekend.

Hatfield QE's scheduled Herts/Middlesex 4 match at Southgate was cancelled due to a waterlogged pitch.

This follows recent matches being postponed because of frozen, rock-hard pitches.

Hertfordshire Stags were also hit last Sunday.

Their game against Kent Under-20s, scheduled to take place at Charlton Park RFC, was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Stags' next match in the RFU U20 National Championship is next Sunday, February 8 against Middlesex U20 at Tabard RFC in Radlett.

Kick-off is at 2.15 pm.

Herts Stags - the county's U20 team - are at home a week later against their Army counterparts.
