ENGLAND Under-20 rugby star and Hatfield student Alex Goode made his Saracens first team debut at the weekend.

The fly-half kicked two penalties and two conversions as his side defeated Bristol 25-20 in Milton Keynes.

Goode, who is the nephew of Tewin's Olympic badminton bronze medallist Jo Goode, excelled for his country as they claimed U20 Six Nations Grand Slam glory earlier this year.

Last Saturday's game was an emotional one for Hertfordshire University student Goode and his Saracens team-mates.

It marked the end of former England legend and World Cup winner Richard Hill's playing career with the club.
