A former Welwyn RFC player was on the scoresheet for England in the Six Nations triumph over Scotland on Sunday.

Hannah Gallagher, now of Saracens, touched down the 11th and final try of the game in Aberdeen, as England Ladies smashed Scotland 63-0.

England led 29-0 at half-time and continued the onslaught after the break.

It was a fine response from England who had opened the championship with a 18-6 defeat to France the previous weekend.

The victory now sets up England for a significant clash against reigning Grand Slam champions Ireland at Twickenham Stadium on February 22, kick off 6.20pm.
