LEE Reynolds of Herts Phoenix left the field behind him as he won the Flitwick 10k earlier this month.

Reynolds was the first man home in a time of 31 minutes 54 seconds to taste triumph in the Bedfordshire race.

He fought off the challenge of second-placed Andrew Hennessy, of Wells City Harriers, who came in behind him with 32 mins 07 secs.

Home racer Paul Farmer claimed third spot for Ampthill & Flitwick Flyers recorded 33 mins 13 secs.

Reynolds' Herts Phoenix team-mate Paul Greaves also did well in the competition.

He finished in fifth place and was the winner of the V40 age category clocking a time of 24 mins 09 secs.
