POTTERS Bar Town winger Junior Luke has been called up to the Antigua & Barbuda Under-20 side and is currently with the Eastern Caribbean country's squad.

Pacy wide player Luke has been in impressive form for the Scholars this season in the Ryman League Division One North.

He is now part of the Antigua & Barbuda set-up for their CONCACAF U20 Championship qualifying matches.

Bar manager Steve Browne revealed how Luke's U20 selection came about.

"Junior trained with the full squad during the summer, although he didn't make that senior squad they wanted him for the U20s," he said.

"He went last Thursday (November 13) and will be back after the weekend."

Luke's side are in Caribbean Group H for the qualifiers alongside Jamaica and Aruba.

In their first group game Antigua lost 3-2 to Aruba yesterday (Wednesday).

Tomorrow (Friday) Luke's team will play the Jamaica U20 side in their second game of the group stage.
