Barry Bowman, Edgar Vaughan, Brian Tomlinson and Richard Pearce won 20-13 for Bar.

Bill Massey, Ron Golden, Roy Tansey and Terry Barker drew 21-21.

Martin Eccleshall, Peter Gower, Martin Wood and Ken Huntley lost their rink 26-19, but crucially took the extra end.
