Potters Bar Bowls Club held their annual presentation dinner after another successful year.

The event at Old Fold Manor Golf Club saw over 100 members attend and enjoy a four-course meal.

In addition to competition trophies, the club presented two individual trophies.

The Anne Clarke Plate went to Rita Hamshere, the Potters Bar player with the highest average points during the season while the Jim Sales Salver was chosen by men’s captain Colin Malone, who gave it to John Berry, the member he thought had not only bowled to the best of their ability but had gone the extra mile for the club.

After presenting trophies to the 2018 competition winners and special awards for hard-working members, president Susie Thurlow congratulated all who had contributed to a most successful season.

She also thanked all those present for contributing so generously to her chosen charity for the year, Headway Hertfordshire.
