BROCKET Hall Golf Club is set to launch its summer season by staging a membership open day on Sunday.
This will offer golfers a free chance to experience the many privileges of joining one of the UK’s most historic golfing venues.
Prospective members are invited to go along to the prestigious club, near Welwyn Garden City on Sunday (May 19) and enjoy complimentary use of its extensive golf facilities.
As well as playing 18 holes on its renowned Palmerston Course, ranked 86th in the latest ‘Top 100 Golf Courses in England’ poll and one of Brocket Hall’s two championship courses, people can take advantage of the full use of the club’s practice facilities at its golf academy, including its par-three course all day.
Tee times are available between midday and 2pm and, following a hard afternoon on the fairways, golfers can relax and unwind in the club’s Watershyppes restaurant, with complimentary drinks and canapés being served from 4pm to 7pm.
David Griffin, Brocket Hall Golf Club’s new club manager, said: “This is the perfect way for golfers to experience membership at Brocket Hall and the club has a variety of options available to suit the needs of the modern-day golfer.”
