Hatfield Town’s season went from bad to worse when they were hammered 8-0 away at Harefield United on Tuesday night.
Without a victory in 26 games heading into the SSML Premier Division fixtures, the Blueboys were always going to be up against it at mid-table Harefield.
And so it proved.
Riccardo Cannon bagged a hat-trick, and further goals from Jack Reader (two), Ben Porter, Harry Newman and Ryan Kinnane sealed an emphatic victory.
Hatfield will be looking to bounce back tonight (Thursday) when they travel to take on Hillingdon Borough.
