They may be fresh from an appearance in the Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League Premier Division play-off but North Mymms are looking to build again ahead of the new season.

The Home Farm-based cricket club are on the lookout for new players, both at the senior level and through their junior ranks.

Previous experience is not needed but anyone coming back to the game will be most welcome also.

The junior section covers ages five to 16 and Jim Clarke, the club’s development officer, believes Mymms is the perfect club top play at.

He said: “There’s so much on offer. It’s a great sport and a great way to make new friends. Plus we have the most beautiful setting all on your doorstep.”

Trial sessions are available either at the winter nets on Monday evenings or at Home Farm from April.

Social Membership is available too.
