DATCHWORTH'S East Herts Bowls League Division One Blue team defeated Rosehill Badgers to take maximum points for the second match in succession, winning 43-25.

Mike Mahoney, Steve Arnold and skip Les Parsley won 26-11.

The game involving Les Elms, Brian Gilbert and skip Peter Hills finished in a 17-14 victory.

The second defeat in three days in the Stevenage Mixed League was inflicted on Datchworth at Aston as the home club won 89-72.

Peggy Lewis, David Thompson, Phil Fox and skip Les Parsley went down 22-13.

Gill Parsley, Bill Thorne, Jim Adams and skip Steve Chamberlain almost pulled victory from the jaws of defeat but ended up losing out, 22-20.

Jim Whittle, Ros Wintle, Steve Arnold and skip Brian Gilbert lost 27-15.

The only winning rink Datchworth had was that of Arthur Lewis, Chris Hills, Jeff Nash and skip David Wright, who won the last three ends to win 24-18.
