London Marathon successes for Garden City Runners

MARK Dickinson took the plaudits as the fastest finishing Garden City Runner at the Virgin London Marathon.

The speedster finished in a splendid 74th place overall in a time of 2:35:7 seconds putting him in 74th place overall and seventh in his age category. Next to finish was Chris Baynes, 453rd male in 2:48:26 followed by Neill Hughes, 662nd in a new personal best time of 2:52:49.

First Garden City female runner was Emma Ferry finishing as 972nd female in 3:37:50.
