Hertfordshire Mavericks have confirmed the signing of three import players for the 2016 Vitality Netball Superleague.

New Zealand veteran Joline Henry, Trinidad and Tobago goal attack Samantha Wallace and Australian Sam May will be turning out for the Hatfield-based franchise.

Mid-courter Henry, who is 33 and has 91 caps for the Silver Ferns, won Commonwealth Games gold in 2010 and will add some experience to Samantha Bird’s squad.

Highly-rated shooter Wallace will certainly be one to watch in the new campaign and is a real coup for the Mavericks.

May makes a welcome return to the Mavericks for a thid season having impressed the last two terms.

Mavericks begin their league season on January 30 away to Celtic Dragons.

Their first match at the Herts Sports Village is on February 6 against Loughborough Lightning.
