HERTS Signs Youth Under-11s were beaten 4-2 by a strong Harlow Sports side in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League.

Hatfield-based Signs travelled to Essex to face a team who have won all their league and cup games this season.

The game started and finished with fantastic skills from both teams entertaining the spectators who watched.

From kick-off Harlow and Herts Signs both created chances.

It was the hosts who took the advantage by scoring twice before half-time.

After the break, Signs took more control of the game.

Their players had more belief in getting a result when Jordon Foster netted to make it 2-1.

Harlow hit back immediately to making the score 3-1.

Daniel Noman scored to bring his side back to within one goal of Harlow.

Two further efforts by Herts Signs strikers Daniel Norman and Connor Fallon were ruled out for offside.

They managed to create further chances but unfortunately could not convert.

In the end Harlow Sports made it 4-2 to win the game.

The Herts Signs manager felt this was probably his side's best display of the season in terms of effort and team play.
