The goal shooter is in her first season with the Hatfield franchise and the Trinidad and Tobago international has been a sensation in the shooting circle helping to fire the Mavericks to the play-offs.

Wallace is on a short-list of five for the honour.

Loughborough Lightning’s Ama Agbeze, Manchester Thunder and England captain Sara Bayman, Surrey Storm’s Sophie Candappa and Team Bath’s Karla Mostert are also up for the gong.
