Herts Mavericks lock horns with Surrey Storm tomorrow night (Saturday) for a place in the Vitality Netball SuperLeague grand final at the Copper Box Arena, London on Saturday, May 7.

After 14 matches, 854 minutes of on court grit and determination, highs and lows, it has all come down to this match.

Both matches against Storm this season have been won and lost by a tiny margin with one victory to each team through the rounds.

There is no doubt the encounter is going to be a highly contested one.

Surrey have strength and depth across the court and Mavericks know that will need to work as a team to restrict their play.

Head coach, Sam Bird, said: “We are really looking forward to another encounter with our rivals Surrey Storm.

“Both teams deserve to be in the top four and it is all to play for tomorrow.

“We are excited, unified and proud to be representing Mavericks in the semi final.”

Mavericks are hugely grateful to all of their fans who managed to secure tickets – they will need your support in the Surrey Sports Park so don’t forget to make yourselves heard.

For the fans they were unable to get tickets, don’t forget that it will be live on Sky Sports from 6pm.

First CP is at 6pm. Follow updates via Herts Mavericks’ Twitter feed - @hertsmavericks
