Hertfordshire Mavericks will take on England U21s in a pre-season friendly as a curtain-raiser for England Roses' opening clash with Jamaica at London's Copper Box Arena on Tuesday, November 29.

The Roses face Jamaica in a three-match series at the end of next month and early December with game one taking place in the capital before further clashes in Manchester (December 2) and Coventry (December 4).

The Mavericks’ showdown with the U21s will begin at 5.30pm, preceding England’s battle with Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls.

Tickets already bought for the test match will be valid for both matches. Tickets for the evening are already sold out.

Doors will open at 4.30pm.

Robyn Broughton’s Mavericks are no strangers to the Copper Box, regularly facing off against Surrey Storm in the London Live events.

They also reached the Superleague grand final there two seasons ago when they lost to Storm.
