IT was a disappointing day for WGC 5ths as they skidded to a seven-wicket defeat against Bentley Heath 2nds.

The highlight of WGC's innings was a stand of 74 for the fifth wicket between skipper Kevin Hyatt (25) and Harry Wells (36).

Chris Day scored an unbeaten 29, but WGC made 153-9.

The home side's 2nd XI were too strong, getting to their target in 28 overs despite Hyatt calling on six of his young bowlers.
