HATFIELD Swimming Club regained their title of Herts League champions at the weekend.

The competition, held at the Potters Bar pool, is designed so all the clubs in the county go head-to-head to find an overall champion.

For the second year running Hatfield triumphed and finished as overall winners.

They collected 102 points, runners-up Bishop's Stortford ended with 102 and third-placed Hoddesdon had 186 points.

Hatfield's Johnny Quinn and Cara Purvis collected the trophy from meet referee Colin Greenall to cap an excellent squad performance.
