Hatfield heavyweight Tom Little says he will ‘get to put a massive part of his life right’ when he embarks on a revenge clash with Tom Dallas on Dovebox Promotions’ ‘Knights of Thunder’ show at York Hall on February 11.

Little was defeated by Kent’s Dallas by technical knockout on Sky Sports’ Prizefighter show in 2012 in a three-round bout at the Bethnal Green venue.

Now, almost five years later, the pair’s paths are due to cross again in the capital and 29-year-old Little is looking to expunge the memories of the ‘worst night of his life’.

Speaking at a pre-show press conference in London in which Dallas failed to show up to, Little said: “I didn’t know a bit of banter would put the man [Dallas] into hibernation.

“I’ll leave off on banter because I do want to beat him up on February 11 and I don’t want him to come down with a virus or something else.

“This fight means so much to me for so many reasons.

“I fought Tom before on the worst night of my life. I wasn’t in physical shape to do so. I should have been in hospital with what was going on with me at the time.

“I was a man living in a Volkswagen Golf car and as you can see from the size of me, sleeping in a Golf wasn’t the most comfortable so on February 11 I get to put a massive part of my life right and he’s going to be the unfortunate soul on the end of it.

“All I can tell him is make sure you’re ready and I hope he has a good plan for after boxing because this fight is going to be the end of his career.”
