Hannah Burke claimed a top 20 finish at the Ricoh Women’s British Open at the weekend.

The player from WGC finished on par after four rounds (74, 72, 71, 71) at the Trump Turnberry Resort, Scotland to tie in 17th place.

Burke was the second-highest placed Englishwoman behind Melissa Reid who tied ninth.

It was the first time the Hertfordshire player had made the cut at the British Open after missing out on her debut in the competition last year.

South Korea’s Inbee Park won the tournament firing 12 under par to finish three shots ahead of fellow South Korean Jin-Young Ko.

The Ladies European Tour now heads to the Czech Republic with the Topsport Golf Masters in Pilsen which starts this Friday.
