With the Herts County Darts Shamrock League fixtures for the season completed, the ladies' and men's National Gold Cup Pairs County play-offs took centre stage.

Elliot and Creed Jnr beat Dave Meader and Chris Charalambides from London Colney 2-0 in the final.

In the first set, Mark finished on 20 and young Jon finished on 116.

Mark went out on 95 in the second set to take the first leg.

Chris Charalambides hit 107 to level at 1-1, but Mark clinched the third leg with a 110 finish to secure the win.

In the semi-finals, Mark and Jon beat Mick Bullen and Paul Dutton from Croxley Green 2-0.

Meader and Charalambides beat Preben Krabben and Michael Ovens from Welwyn Garden City two sets to one in their semi-final.

The winners of the ladies' pairs were Sue Burden and Jo Brosnan from Watford.

They beat the Hoddesdon duo of Amanda Essam and Sharon Ramthor 3-1 in a well contested final.

Both triumphant pairs go forward to the National Finals at Lakeside in July.
