WELWYN Garden City slipped to their second Home Counties Premier League defeat of the season yesterday (Saturday) away to county rivals Radlett.
Former Middlesex and Somerset all-rounder Aaron Laraman led the way with 78 as WGC made 240-9 off their 66 overs in the Division One derby at Cobden Hill.
South African Shane Burger tucked into the Digswell Park club's bowling with relish in reply with an unbeaten 90.
And Burger's blast, coupled with former Kent player Leo Sandino Taylor's half-century, helped Radlett to 241-5 and maximum Serious Cricket HCPL points.
WGC entertain great rivals Potters Bar next Saturday.
