Women’s football will feature in EA Sports FIFA computer game series for the first time in its’ history this year.

Welwyn Garden City’s Alex Scott and her England team-mates will be joined on FIFA ‘16, released on September 25, by Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, Sweden, and the USA.

David Rutter, vice president and general manager of EA Sports said: “Bringing some of the best women’s players and teams in the world to our franchise is a massive event for EA Sports.”

The announcement comes just nine days before the start of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada, which runs until July 5.
