PANSHANGER Whites Under-12s secured third place in the Mid Herts Rural Minors League Davison Two with a convincing 5-2 win over Potters Bar Crusaders on Wednesday.

Whites made things difficult for themselves in the first half, with several shots hitting the bar or going just wide of the goal.

Potters Bar opened the scoring but Panshanger managed to pull one back just before half-time through Bailey Rose.

Bar came out and within minutes regained the lead at 2-1, again putting the pressure on the Panshanger forwards.

Rhys Monger slotted the ball past the Crusaders keeper to even the score again.

This then inspired Panshanger to net another three times, one coming from the defender George Mills, to make the final score 5-2 to the WGC side.

The Panshanger man of the match went to Reuben Hill.
