WELWYN Garden City secured their third draw from the opening five SSML Division One games last night (Wednesday) at home to Hoddesdon Town as the clash ended 2-2.

City went ahead through Jerome Cain and doubled their advantage as Leigh Nymm netted in the 43rd minute at Herns Lane.

However, WGC old boy Robbie Carroll pulled one back for the Lilywhites in added on time at the end of the first half as he lobbed home keeper Joe Croft.

Hoddesdon completed their comeback with 15 minutes left to play as Carl Randall finished neatly from inside the Citizens’ half.

That point leaves City 12th in the table, they travel to Ampthill Town on Saturday.
