WELWYN Garden City FC are on the hunt for a new manager as Phil Reid has stepped down as first team boss.
Reid’s departure was said to be due to ongoing work commitments.
A statement from Welwyn Garden City FC said: “We thank Phil for the hard work he has put into the club and wish him well for the future.”
The former Barnet player’s last game in charge was Saturday’s 6-0 defeat to Leverstock Green in the FA Vase second qualifying round.
He took over at the Herns Lane helm from Paul Gurney in November 2009, but could not save City from being relegated from the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division last term.
