Welwyn Garden City bounce back to beat Sport London e Benfica

WELWYN Garden City bounced back from two consecutive Spartan South Midlands League Division One defeats to beat Sport London e Benfica away 1-0 last night (Tuesday).

The all important goal came at Reynolds Field after 25 minutes through Kieran Wilson.

It handed Phil Reid’s troops all three points and their fourth league win of the term.

On Saturday WGC host league rivals Crawley Green at Herns Lane in the first round qualifying of the FA Vase, kick-off 3pm.
