Welwyn Campus put eight past Shamrock Reserves

Hat-tricks for Marc Arnott and Daniel Viney helped Welwyn Campus to the biggest win of the Welwyn Hatfield Sunday League at the weekend.
Campus defeated Shamrock Rovers Reserves 8-2 to the Premier Division.
Also on target for the victors were Andrew Elliot and Joe Drummy, while Jack Hurdy and Callum Wickham netted for Rovers.
In the only other league game of the weekend, league leaders The Grove defeated The Cock 5-2 in a fierce clash which saw both sides press each other throughout.
The Grove went ahead through Luke Sullivan’s nice finish.
The Cock hit back with a nice goal from Alec Maguire.
However, The Grove pressed on throughout the game scoring four more goals.
There was another for Sullivan, another brace from Adrian Hammill and one for Jay Lovell.
The Cock however did get one back through Charan Basra.
There was also county cup action on Sunday.
Shamrock Rovers bowed out of the Herts Sunday Senior Cup with a third round loss to The Emperor’s Head.
The game was 2-2 after 90 minutes, however The Emperor’s Head struck twice in extra-time to progress 4-2.
In the same competition The Great Northern claimed a 3-1 success over Percival.
Bradmore Rovers exited the Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup with 3-2 third round defeat to North Watford.
