Panshanger FC and Welwyn and Hatfield Day Services’ hosted a football tournament to mark the start of their new inclusive football initiative on Wednesday.

Welwyn and Hatfield Day services, of Woodcot Lane in WGC, who support adults with disabilities and additional needs, started taking part in regular football activities through Hertfordshire FA & Watford FC CSE Trust’s ‘Disability Football Development Fund’ (DFDF) project, in October 2013.

Together with Panshanger FC, an FA Charter Standard Club with youth teams from U6s through to U18s,the pair have teamed up to provide free facilities, equipment, coaching and kit for people with a disability and/or additional need.
