Welham Albion Warriors followed up their success at Stamford Bridge and the Emirates Stadium by winning the League Cup – a result which clinched them the quadruple.

Albion only conceded two goals throughout the competition as they reached the final against Mounden.

And goals from Ryley Brailsford and Rockson Obeng in the final saw them to a 2-0 victory and the trophy.

Welham’s chairman John Shearer said: “The boys played some great football and kept the ball moving nicely throughout the final.

“Lenny Dean and Danny Littler were on form at the back to keep Mounden at bay but all the boys worked hard to secure the win.

“It’s been an amazing season for Welham Albion’s Warriors.

“Everyone at the club has been impressed with their progress and to secure four trophies in one season is a superb achievement for any age.”
