Norwich City defender Harry Toffolo is looking to enjoy another fruitful loan spell in League One after sealing a deadline day move to Scunthorpe United.

The Watton-at-Stone man, who has previously spent time in England’s third tier with Swindon Town and Peterborough United – amassing 35 appearances during the two stints – has signed a deal until January with the Irons.

Toffolo, whose only appearance in the yellow of the Canaries came in a 6-1 League Cup thumping of Coventry City last month, told Scunthorpe United’s official website: “I’ve had good experiences with Swindon and Peterborough.

“I’ve also been with Rotherham in the Championship for experience and hopefully I can use that to help the team.

“I want to help get this team promoted. We’re more than capable of doing that with the manager [Graham Alexander] and the backing of the chairman.

“From what I’ve seen of the team so far on the Football League Show they’ve been really good so far and I can’t wait to meet up with them tomorrow.

“I loved the atmosphere when I’ve been here as an away player before and I can’t wait to be here as a home player.”

The 21-year-old is in line to make his United debut against Phil Brown’s Southend United next Saturday (September 10).
