In the Ultimate Football Welwyn Garden City Monday Night six-a-side League, Boca Seniors picked up their first points of the summer campaign with a 5-2 victory over Volvo Selekt.

Goals from William Kus and Martin Clark gave Volvo a narrow lead early in the second half of the League One clash.

However, a brace for both player-manager Saleem Jabbar and man of the match Tom Bundy, and a fine effort from Alex Dowell, lifted Boca to fourth in the table.

Chris Gray and Gregor Mackintosh proved to be the difference for BOV, who were without influential captain Harry Butrimas-Gair, in a narrow 4-3 triumph over FC Big Fan.

Two Goals One Cup just edged the possession in both halves against Neverbee Athletic and five incredible strikes from James Cornwall helped Daniel Griffin’s men to a 6-0 win, keeping them top on goal difference.

Although there was an unexpected goal-less draw played out between Blackpool and Shakthar FC, there were goals galore in My Dixie’s 10-2 victory over Academy Rejects, who were missing several first team regulars due to injury.

George Robinson’s hat-trick was the pick of the goals for the purple jersey outfit while Matt Wren and Finley Shearer snatched two late consolation goals for Rejects.

Daniel Hedges’ Inter FC trailed newboys Rabbits 3-2 at half-time but a second half brace from returning midfielder Lee Newman and one each from Dan Smith and Joe McMahon secured the 6-4 win.

In the Championship, four goals earned Stuart Madil the man of the match accolade in Hedgehog FC’s 10-1 romp over Motherwell.

Charlie Bacon, Darren Whyman and Jamie Thomas were also amongst the scorers in the emphatic success.

Nevertheless, Mark Norman’s fierce right-footed strike late on was a goal of the season contender for Motherwell.

Two under-strengthed sides shared five goals as Smakosze St Albans beat Leg Day Pending 3-2.

The win keeps the St Albans side level with Hedgehog on points, but trailing on goal difference.
