The Ultimate Football Welwyn Garden City Monday night 6 a-side league has just finished its summer season and the teams didn’t disappoint in the last round of Premiership games.

Blackpool, who had already been crowned champions, had to come from 3-1 down to beat Litty Commity 6-4.

Rag Rovers also finished strongly and will go into the Autumn season as one of the favourites.

They won 10-2 against Sondico United, team captain Dean Sadler scoring five goals.

SD & Carlton Cole faced a resolute Volvo Selekt side, who ground out an excellent 2-1 result to finish the season with a win.

The rest of the teams played pre-season friendlies.

Neverbee were unable to overcome new team Stevie Wonder, who ran out 2-0 winners thanks to a brace by Josh Jordan.

Neverbee also lost to Flumpy FC, whose star striker Dan Allison scored four in a 6-2 success.

Mark Rogers and Dan Harper both scored hat-tricks in FC Rangers’ 8-0 win over Mavericks and Hedgehog were almost as clinical as they beat Got No Fans 4-0.

Stroke T continue to impress as they overcame The Toddlers 5-2, Jake Miles with a particularly strong performance.

James Ferguson of Hedgehog FC was named player of the season for his consistent performances while Flumpy FC’s Allison was the winner of the golden boot with 29 goals.

Ultimate Football’s autumn season starts on Monday and there are limited spaces left.
