The Ultimate Football WGC six-a-side league has now started its new spring season.

Reigning Premiership champions Rag Rovers wasted no time in stamping their authority over SD & Carlton Cole with a 3-1 win thanks to goals from Jay Lovell, Lewis Whitehead and Sam Cockhill.

Lloyd Peters got the reply.

Hot on their tails are Litty Commity who overcame Volvo Selekt by the same score thanks to a brace from Charlie Lloyd and one for Zak Gouldthorpe. Phil Winter pulled a goal back for Volvo.

Smakosze St Albans started their Championship campaign with a 4-1 success over Flumpy FC while FC Rangers Old Boys just had enough in the tank to overcome Hedgehog FC 3-2 in a very close game.

Mark Rogers proved a handful up front, scoring all three for the Old Boys.

In League One, Boyz 2 Men were highly impressive in a 6-1 win over Neverbee Athletic with Joe Barnsdale scoring two.

Elsewhere Marcus Mengal scored twice as Got No Fans overcame Real Sons 3-1.
