In the Ultimate Football WGC Monday night six-a-side league, Motherwell celebrated their first victory with a Spring Cup win over Boca Seniors.

Mark Norman scored the only goal of the first half, but Tom Bundy levelled after the break.

Motherwell’s Eddy Webb eventually scored the winner.

In League One, Oliver Jamieson put FC Big Fan ahead in their encounter with Neverbee Athletic.

Midway through the second half Terry Jennings found an equaliser for Athletic as the game was drawn.

Inter FC maintained their winning momentum with a 5-1 victory over Hedgehog FC.

Joe McMahon’s hat-trick and a brace from Derren Thompson were sufficient to keep them two points clear at the top.

Nearest rivals Mark Beard FC established a two-goal first-half lead against Volvo Selekt thanks to Andy Spencer.

Jimmy Kemp reduced the arrears, but Niall Quinn went on to seal the win for Mark Beard with a third goal.

Volvo captain Martin Clark made the final score 3-2.

Harry Tann put Leg Day Pending in front as they faced Wheeler Dealers. Dan Dixon found an equaliser before half-time and early second-half strikes from James Wheeler and James Ferguson put Wheeler’s side in prime position.

Tann’s second of the night gave renewed hope to his side, but Tom Gajjar wrapped up Dealers’ win.

Luke Swift returned to Blackpool’s line-up for their match with Two Goals and he netted the opening goal of the game.

Steve Charles and Greg Timotheou increased the lead for the oranges before Michael Cornwall scored a well-deserved consolation goal for Daniel Griffin’s men, who worked hard throughout in a bid to rescue something from the game.

My Dixie also recorded a win in the opening round of the cup as they saw off Smakosze St Albans with goals from Ben Smith (two), George Robinson and Dan Winwood.

Michal Gawron and Kris Barnowski did reduce the arreas for the St Albans based side but their comeback was a little late to impact the result.

Colonel Getafe 2-0 also won on Monday with goals from debutante Alex Bryant, along with strikes from Shaun Munoz and Jordan Kimsey contributing to the victory.
