It was game-week five in the WGC Ultimate Football League’s spring season.

First played second in the Premier Division when The Rock took on Rag Rovers – and Rovers stepped up to the plate with a commanding 4-1 win.

A disciplined first-half saw them lead 2-0 at the break thanks to goals from Prince Appleton and Sam Cooper and a second for Appleton with one for Dean Sadler after the break took them to victory.

Alex Roberts replied for The Rock.

Volvo Selekt drew 3-3 with SD & Carlton Cole, Martin Clark getting a hat-trick for them while James Brookes and Ben Neville (two) were the scorers for SD&CC.

Two goals from Charlie Pain helped Litty Commity win 4-0 against Blackpool.

In the Championship, FC Rangers Old Boys were too strong for Flumpy FC as they won 3-1, a result which keeps them in second.

In League One, John James continued his good form for Got No Fans with a hat-trick in their 5-1 win over Neverbee Athletic.

But he was eclipsed by Josh Jordan of Stevie Wonder who hit seven in the 10-0 success against Real Sons.
