Welwyn Impressive took the winter season Premiership title in the Ultimate Football WGC Monday night 6 a-side league in convincing style.

A 5-0 win over BTEC Ballers was enough for Impressive.

Three teams could have won the League One crown but Hedgehog FC put the debate to bed, however, with a powerful display against fellow contenders Clearwater, winning 3-0 thanks to goals from Kade Beeson and a brace by Ben Whybrow.

Elsewhere in League One, Neverbee and Life’s a P played out a 1-1 draw while The Toddlers and Flumpy FC served up an epic with Flumpy coming from 3-1 down to win 7-4.

The Championship sides played a pre-season round of friendlies.

New teams Crude Crocs and Show Me Da Mane impressed against Volvo Selekt and Smakosze St Albans, winning 4-2 and 5-4 respectively.

A late Darryl Stewart strike won it for Litty Commity, 5-4 over Blackpool.
