SD & Carlton Cole picked up their first win in the Ultimate Football Welwyn Garden City Monday night six-a-side league, with a narrow 2-1 success against Neverbee Athletic.

John Musgrove and debutante James Brookes got the goals either side of a Francis Mardlin strike.

A goal each from James McDermott and David Rospo was sufficient to clinch the League One title for Volvo Selekt in what was essentially a title decider with FC Big Fan.

Newboys The Toddlers, managed by Ethan Cooper, looked cohesive in their pre-season friendly with a new-look Boca Seniors outfit, managed by Matt Edge.

Cooper and Frankie O’Shea were both on the scoresheet for Toddlers but a hat-trick from Alex Dowell proved the turning point as Boca eventually ran out 6-2 victors.

FC Flair beat Academy Rejects 4-2 thanks to goals from Charlie Holmes, Zach Ward and two from Marco Tavares.
