The Ultimate Football Welwyn Garden City Monday night 6 a-side league is now into its autumn season.

In the Premiership, a thrilling encounter between league leaders Rag Rovers and third-placed Flumpy FC finished in an amazing 4-4 draw.

Sam Cockhill put Rovers ahead before Dan Allison equalised for Flumpy.

And the game continued to swing one way, then the other, as goals from Scott Leger (two) and Chris Houghton put Flumpy ahead after Prince Appleton and Ellis Gordon had put Rovers into a 3-1 lead.

However, Appleton levelled late on to earn a share of the points.

Litty Commity kept the pressure on Rag with a 3-1 win over Blackpool, Dale Stewart on target twice, while SD & Carlton Cole drew with Volvo Selekt.

In the Championship, Real Sons beat the Mavericks 3-2 and Rick West’s goal gave Neverbee Athletic the win over Got No Fans.

Old Boys and Flights FC drew 1-1 to stay third and fourth in the league respectively.
