In comes Brett O’Connor from Hertford Town and Biggleswade FC’s Dan Green.

O’Connor is an attacking midfield player and comes with experience of step four football while Green was called by WGC’s official Twitter account as “arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the league last year.”

They added: “[He’s] got all the attributes to be a top keeper and a fantastic addition to the squad.”

Manager Adam Fisher took to social media to express his delight.

Speaking on Twitter he said: [They] are top players in their respective positions and looking forward to them integrating into the squad.

“Few more to come in the next week or so and join pre-season.”

The signings followed more players news.

On Friday the club announced 12 of last year’s title-winning squad would return to Herns Lane including captain Danny Payne and top-scorer Jon Clements.
