Brett O’Connor, Joe Bennett and Dan Green have already come in but they will be joined at the Southern League side by Lee Close and Adam Hunt.

Close is a midfielder with bags of experience at the higher level having played for Boreham Wood, Barton Rovers and AFC Dunstable.

Hunt on the other hand is a former MK Dons academy man who was skipper at Biggleswade FC last season.

Adam Fisher, who has been named manager of the year at the Spartan South Midlands League AGM, said on Twitter: “Delighted to get Adam on board, he is someone who I have wanted for over a year.

“Great quality and will be a huge asset for us defensively and offensively.”

Another well-deserved award win at the AGM was playing surface of the year which was given for the hard work of Tony Attfield and his helpers in preparing the pitch.
