Archant

Josh Hart hit four as Hatfield Town U11 Blues lifted the Divisional Cup with a 4-1 victory over Risdon Wood.

Held at The Hive in Barnet, both sides started well and cancelled each other.

There was definitely some nerves from the Blues but they held their own despite some slick movement from Risdon.

But Hart opened the scoring to give Hatfield a 1-0 half-time lead and their confidence grew after the break.

Jola Olawoyin’s tireless running earned him the man of the match award as the Blues took control of the fixture.

Hart netted a further two goals to complete his hat-trick but one back from Risdon gave them hope of a comeback.

Those hopes ended 10 minutes from the end when Hart settled the contest with number four.

And under the guidance of head coach Ashley Lake, the Blues lifted the trophy to cap a superb season.
