ST Johns Youth Under-14s fought valiantly but were defeated by a strong Harvesters FC of the Watford Friendly League.

Against the run of play, St Johns almost took the lead when Ben Agyekum's header came back off the post.

Harvesters' pressure eventually took its toll, as St Johns failed to clear a ball in their penalty area and were punished as it was tucked away to make it 1-0.

St Johns fought back in the second half and were rewarded as captain Josh Neville scored with a spectacular long-range free-kick.

Unfortunately, it didn't last long as Harvesters scored to make it 2-1

And they scored a third to put the game beyond reach, the final score being 3-1 to the St Albans side.
