SSML Round-up: McGrandles grabs winner for Welwyn Garden City against former side

There was a SSML Premier Division victory for Welwyn Garden City and a Division One loss for Hatfield Town this weekend.

A late John McGrandles goal for WGC against his former side Colney Heath handed the Citizens a 1-0 victory at The Recreation Ground.

The win leaves Adam Fisher’s City, who visit Sun Sports on Tuesday night, sixth in the table

Elsewhere in Division One, Hatfield Town were second best all afternoon as they fell to a 3-0 loss at Gosling Stadium to a dominant Baldock Town side who netted through Anthony James, Jack Gregson and Matthew Cook.

The Blueboys stay 18th in the table.

Codicote saw their trip to Hillingdon Borough postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
