WELWYN Garden City climbed to the top of the SSML Division One after a Joel Norris hat-trick handed them a 3-0 victory at Buckingham Athletic on Saturday.

Manager Adam Fisher has led The Citizens to a seven-match unbeaten league run with five wins and two draws to date, next up is a trip to Wodson Park on Saturday.

That good form has been helped by Norris banging in seven goals in the last three games and 12 in total so far after nine matches.

In the Premier Division, Hatfield Town had an afternoon to forget suffering a 5-0 defeat to leaders Hanwell Town at The Gosling Stadium.

Hatfield travel to derby rivals Colney Heath on Saturday.

Codicote were in FA Vase action and secured a 3-2 extra-time win over London Colney thanks to goals from Kane Dougherty, Grant Macaree and Joe Tyler.

Liam Errington’s men are back in SSML Division One action on Tuesday night at home to Langford before travelling to Bedford on Saturday.
