CITY boss Howard Cowley was delighted after Saturday's 3-2 victory over Kingsbury London Tigers.

He said: "I felt we were good value for our half-time lead.

"It was a great response by the boys to a couple of bad results.

"I felt we were unlucky to concede the penalty, yet we never gave up, and well deserved the winner against very tough opponents."

Cowley added: "I am delighted with the effort, commitment and enthusiasm of all the boys, and today we showed that we can play.

"Finally we got the performance that I know we can produce, and this victory shows we are a decent side."

WGC travel to struggling Holmer Green on Saturday.
