Boss Adam Fisher saw his Welwyn Garden City side make the best possible start to life back in the SSML Premier Division with a 6-0 win at London Tigers.

New signings Ash Kersey and Josh Bronti put the Citizens 2-0 up at half-time on Saturday.

After the break, Kersey grabbed a second before Jason Caswell slammed home a penalty and Craig Arnott’s double sealed this mauling of the Tigers.

Boss Fisher said: “I am happy with the performance.

“I couldn’t have asked for much more.

“The lads from last year carried on the momentum and the new lads adapted and fitted in brilliantly.”

WGC face London Colney tonight (Wednesday) at Herns Lane in the league.
