SHERRARDSWOOD Yellows Under-11s scored a comfortable 8-1 victory over Ware Youth Whites on Saturday.

Yellows took control from the start, but it looked like their luck was out as Reggie Ross twice and Charlie Hayne both went close.

Luke Foster also had an effort cleared off the line.

But once Robert Wells had thumped home from close range, the goals flooded in.

Ryan Sullivan made it two and within just over five minutes it was 5-0 with Ross getting on the scoresheet and Wells adding his second of the match.

The second half was much the same and Mitchell Wilson slotted home number six.

Ross then tapped home the seventh, before Robert Wells completed his hat-trick.

Yellows then swapped the team around, allowing Ware a consolation in the dying minutes.
